So, this is summer season, and your parents must be telling you to not to go out in sun in the afternoon, and all necessary things to avoid, but you want to go out because we are kid, and we want fun, so just go on and read this article, it will help to go out in the sun and play....



Many of us think that the summer is a season of suntan, sunburn, but you can tackle the harmful sun rays by the below ways:-

To protect our skin from harmful sun rays, the right clothing plays an important role. As you know in the summer season, the most dangerous thing is sun's harmful rays which if we are exposed for a long time, it can cause sunburn, suntan, and melanin in our body comes out to protect our skin and as the melanin is in black color, our skin gets darker and oiler. So just to avoid or reduce the maximum effect of sunlight to harm our body, wear full body clothes, this will protect your skin.

Use Cotton, fabric and Light Weight Clothes in summer.
Make sure you always wear long sleeves, full collars, full pants or track, it will give you maximum protection from the sun in the summers.
The Wet cloth, old or worn cloth gives you lesser protection, so just make sure that you wear a good quality of cloth in summer.



Always Use Sunscreen:-

The sunscreen in summer is your main protection to avoid tan and burn. Many people don't put sunscreen on your body before going out in the sun then they have to worry about their skin further. 

Remember that apply sunscreen 15-20 minutes before going to sunlight or out. Use proper sunscreen, natural sunscreen, because it will protect you from The Harmful UV Rays and UVB Radiations, use sunscreen above 30 or higher SPF. Again, make sure that you apply enough sunscreen, don't put a small amount of sunscreen, and make sure you apply sunscreen in every 2 hours regularly, and if you are swimming Put sunscreen in every hour.

This is also the best method to avoid direct sunlight to harm you. If you go out to play or with any reason, try to get in the shade at regular intervals of time, don't just exposed to sunlight constantly. 

If you don't have any shade to your surroundings, then you can make your own shade, like from umbrella, find a tree and from a loose t-shirt and Long hat, you can make your own kind of shade, which you feel more satisfied. 
Just try to avoid the direct sunlight from 11 to 3pm because at that time the sunlight will be too harsh on you. Try to delay to go out at that time rather you go after 4pm it would be better. Drink a lot of water at that time.

Now the sunglasses, it is the important thing to put on in the hot summer, the sunglasses are not for just fashion, it protects you from the harmful UV rays that can damage your eye. Your eye is like your skin, its gentle and in fact, is more gentle, you have to take care of your eye in summer most importantly. when you don't care and just exposed your eye for a long period of time to the UV Sun rays, then your eye will start damaging or reducing its power slowly can cause cataracts. 

Just make sure that when you buy sunglasses you buy from a good store where you can trust on, and look at the following things before selecting your preferable sunglass:-
UV 400 Label should be there and your sunglasses should be 100% UV Rays protected.
Sometimes, sunglasses cant give you 100% Protection, but it is good to have put them on your eyes because it will protect your eyes in a good amount rather than not wearing sunglasses.

The Hat in summer will protect your head and give you enough shade in the sunlight.

Did you know the main cause of neck, ears, forehead, nose is the continuous exposure to the sunlight! So always wear a hat.
But Which Hat?
You should select the full-length hat, that covers your head, neck and gives you enough shade, the color is of your favorite, but select this hat, gives you more shade than a regular hat.
But if you go out with the Baseball cap, don't forget to put the sunscreen on your ears and neck which will be uncovered from sunlight, cause you tan or damage.

  • Make sure you drink enough water in summer, because it will ultimately help you to get hydrated because in summer many people get dehydrated easily, so make sure you drink plenty of water at regular intervals of time, drink at least 6-7 liters of water every day.

  • Keeping yourself cool: In summer make yourself cool, by various mean, stay in a cooler place, wear short clothes and lightweight clothes, Drink as much as natural drinks eg.lemon juice, orange juice, etc this will help you to be active in summer.

  • Avoid maximum sunlight, don't go out in sunlight, delay this for the evening after 4pm.

  • In the swimming pool, don't be there for long, the water contains disinfectants like iodine and chlorine which make your skin tan and leave it for months.
